Do you want to be able to identify a hypocrite, so that you can get away from them?
Do you want to know if a person is born of God, so that you can start a family with them?
Do you want to know if your boyfriend or girlfriend is born of God?
Do you want to know if a person is born of God, so that you can start a business with them?
Do you want to know if a pastor is born of God, so that he can clearly hear His voice?
Do you want to know if a church is led by the Spirit of God?
Do you want to know if a “Christian” is truly born of God?
Here's the secret:
"Then Jesus said to his disciples, ’Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me’." Matthew 16:24
Sacrifice, sacrifice and more sacrifice.
Truly, it’s the only attitude that separates:
The true follower from the false follower;
The sincere from the hypocrite;
The faithful from the unfaithful;
The called from the chosen;
Those who serve God from those who don’t serve Him.
It’s simple!
Those who are born of the flesh hate sacrificing.
They know that it takes courage to sacrifice and surrender unconditionally to God. As a result, they run away because they’re cowards.
I doubt that any hypocrite would have the courage to deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Jesus.
Do you know why?
Because hypocrites like everything handed to them, they like taking the easy road; that is, they like things to go their way. They only think about themselves.
The hypocrites of the past considered the offering to be more important than the altar.
Jesus said:
"Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift?" Matthew 23:19
